UCSB Resource Center for Sexual & Gender Diversity - The RCSGD staff works throughout campus with students, staff, and faculty to ensure that LGBT experiences and concerns are represented for sensitive and inclusive UC policies and practices. They provide confidential assistance and support to students, faculty, and staff who feel they have experienced harassment or discrimination, or who have questions around issues such as health, housing, financial aid, and coming out. The National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) is a non-profit organization founded in 2002 aimed at increasing visibility and access for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT)-owned businesses. The NGLCC provides certified LGBT businesses access to corporations and networking opportunities.
We would like to extend an invitation for students to gain the experience of working within our fast-paced, dynamic organization and gaining hands-on experience in various departments, including:

Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2014 Corporate Equality Index is the national benchmarking tool on corporate policies and practices pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees. In the 2014 CEI report, 304 major businesses — spanning nearly every industry and geography — earned a top score of 100 percent and the distinction of “Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality.”
Human Rights Campaign- Employment Issues
