Employers from a variety of industries such as business, government, non-profit, technology and more will be hiring for full-time career positions, internships, summer, and part-time positions. Open to ALL MAJORS, first year through graduate students. This is the Last Chance of the 2017-2018 school year to network, explore and connect with employers.

Career Fairs provide students a venue to network with employers, submit their resume to recruiters, and learn about employment opportunities. Career Services ensures equity of access to campus recruiting activities for all employers who abide by our Employer Policies. It’s up to individual students to determine which employers may or may not align with their diverse talents, values and interests.

What should I wear to the Last Chance Job Fair?
You may consider wearing "business professional" or "business casual attire" depending on the industry you are interested in pursuing.
What is "business professional" attire?
Business professional attire is a more traditional, conservative (black, navy or grey clothing) approach. May vary by employer or industry.
For men - A business suit or blazer, tie and dress slacks. Clothes should be cleaned and pressed. Wing tips or loafers with dark socks.
For women - A business suit, pantsuit or jacket and blouse with neckline no lower than collarbones. Skirt's hem should not be more than two inches above the knee. Clothes should be cleaned and pressed. Low/medium heels or flats. Pick comfortable shoes as you will be standing in line and walking around for a extended amount of time.
What is "business casual" attire?
Business casual attire is more relaxed, but displays a neat appearance.
For men - A polo shirt or shirt with a collar or sweater, khakis or dress slacks, and dress or casual leather shoes.
For women - A shirt with a collar or sweater; khakis, dress slacks, or moderate length dress or skirt. Low/medium heels or flats.
How can I prepare for the Last Chance Job Fair?

- Make a list of the organizations you're interested in and research them. Visit their websites, prepare questions to ask, take note of what positions they are looking to fill. Your preparation is a sure way to stand out from the crowd!
- Visit the Career Resource Room to speak with a career counselor during drop-in hours (M-F from 11am-4pm) or make an individual appointment with a career counselor.

Who can attend the Last Chance Job Fair?
UCSB registered students (including graduate students) of all majors and class levels are invited to attend as well as recent graduates.
What if I am an alumnus of UCSB?
UCSB Alumni can attend this fair. Please visit our Alumni Career Cervices page to request a pass. Please note that you will need to bring your Driver's License/Identification Card, along with your student ID or proof of UC education to be admitted.
What if I am an alumnus of another UC?
UC Alumni are welcome to attend this event. Please visit our Alumni Career Services page to request a pass. Please note that you will need to bring your Driver's License/Identification Card along with your student ID or proof of UC education to be admitted.
What if I am an alumnus of a non-UC university/college?
Non UC Alumni are not permitted to attend.
What if I am an Extension student?
UCSB Extension students are welcome to attend this event. Please visit our Alumni Career Services page to request an admission pass. Please note that you will need to bring your Driver's License/Identification Card, along with your student ID or proof of UC education to be admitted.
What if I am a post-doctoral fellow?
Post-doctoral fellows are permitted to attend the job fair. Please bring your UCSB ID.
What if I am a staff member or community member?
The Last Chance Job Fair is not available to staff or community members who are not UC Alumni (see Alumni text above).
