To Update Letters
  • Candidate acquires the new 2008 authorization form which is either confidential or non-confidential depending on their file.

  • Candidate fills out the top of this form and gives it to their recommender along with a request that their outdated letter be changed to the current year.

  • The recommender will send the RLS both the authorization form and the updated letter. This update will replace the outdated original in the file.


To Retire a Letter

  • A written request, either by mail or email must be made by the candidate to retire a letter from their file.

  • The retired letter will be placed in the back of their file and will no longer be mailed out with future requests.
