The cross-reference index enables you to review diversity career resources based on career specialty, special interest, gender focus, industry, affiliation and diversity focus. Please note this book is available in the Career Resource Room.

Advertises itself as the “largest diversity job board online.” This site also includes employer profiles and diversity-related articles.

IMDiversity.com
An excellent resource providing career articles and job search tools, this site also has more specific information for African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, Women, and Minorities Globally.

In addition to providing a job search database, one of the site’s best features is the availability of career articles for people of color.

University of California, Native American Professional Development Conference (NAPDC)
The conference is designed to provide the tools, resources, and professional development guidance to help advance your career. The agenda includes speakers and presenters from within and outside the UC system, as well as opportunities to meet Native staff from other campuses and to help build a network of advocates and advisors.

The School for Advanced Research
The Indian Arts Research Center annually offers paid nine-month internships to Native individuals who are recent college graduates, current graduate students, or junior museum professionals interested in furthering their collections management experience and enhancing their intellectual capacity for contributing to the expanding field and discourse of museum studies. The internship includes a monthly stipend, housing, book allowance, travel to one professional conference, and reimbursable travel to and from SAR.
