Course Description: The purpose of this course is to provide you with a foundation in your personal academic and career planning process. The course will assist you in developing an understanding and ability to articulate who you are as beginning college students and emerging professionals through personal assessment activities. The focus will be on providing you with tools and strategies for reflection, planning, and goal-setting. Primarily for lower division students.

CNCSP 110 – Introduction to Educational and Vocational Guidance (Career Planning)

Course Description: An overview of the concepts involved in career decision making. Developing a working knowledge of career information and techniques for understanding the job market in relation to economic trends.  Information on job search skills will prepare students to enter the job market or graduate school with a well defined course of action. This course is offered year round including summer sessions. Primarily for upper division students.
