Services for Campus Organizations

Contact icon

We support the professional skills that registered campus organizations provide to UCSB students. By building community over shared interests, your involvement at UCSB is a key step in your personal and professional development.

Whether your organization meets together for social gatherings, greek life activities, professional growth, or other shared aspects of community, we want to work with you. Use this page to learn how we can help students in your organization pursue success.

Co-Sponsor a Career Fair

Learn How to Get Involved

Co-Sponsoring a career fair is a high-impact way to increase visibility for your campus organization. Our Co-Sponsors are heavily involved in marketing and staffing our career fairs, and they are invited to table at the fair for added promotion and visibility. This is a valuable way to connect with other students and employers who are in attendance.

Co-Sponsors are also recognized in all of our career fair print materials, career fair map, email communication with employers, social media campaigns, and website advertisements, all which provide additional advertising for your campus organization.

Request a Workshop

Have a Career Expert Come to You

Career Peer Advisors at Career Services provide career-related workshops to student groups and residence halls that wish to boost their career knowledge and build professionalism for their members.

We require at least two weeks’ notice prior to your requested date for consideration. While we do our best to coordinate around your needs, we cannot guarantee all requests. Workshops do not take place during Dead Week or Finals Week.

Please note the following items when requesting a workshop:

  • Your group must provide room reservation and all media equipment (laptop, projector/screen, internet connection).
  • At least 15 people must be in attendance. If fewer than 5 people are present, we have the right to cancel the workshop.
  • You will confirm your workshop 24-48 hours in advance of the event with the Career Services workshop coordinator.

Volunteer as a Student Event Ambassador

Participate in an Event

Because community service is an essential Pillar of many campus organization missions and experiences, your members are invited to apply to be a Student Event Ambassador for our End of the Year Job Fair.

This volunteer opportunity is open to all students who are looking to earn community service hours and make meaningful connections with students and employers attending the fair. While this is not a formalized co-sponsorship associated with a stipend, individual volunteers will be entered into a raffle for exciting prizes.
